Erica Sutherland, RN, MSN, FNP-C
Erica Sutherland joined Marin Internal Medicine Practice in April 2018. She began her career in Healthcare in 1979 as a practical nurse, and over the next 40 years continued to further her education and experience. She received a Master’s of Science Degree with a Family Nurse Practitioner Specialty in 2001 from Vanderbilt University in Nashville TN. She believes in a realistic and respectful whole person approach to wellness, prevention, and management of chronic and acute illness.
Erica is a native of Marin County and the San Francisco Bay Area. Her work since returning here has included serving the homeless and marginalized populations of Marin in different capacities. Currently Erica is honored to be a part of a Hospice team, providing support and care during this special time of transition for patients and their families. She is a swimmer who enjoys the open water and practicing with a local Masters team, walking her Golden Retriever in the hills, and appreciating the beauty of home.
